West of Scotland neonatal drug monographs are developed and maintained by the West of Scotland Neonatal Pharmacists Group. The West of Scotland neonatal drug monographs are not governed by the Scottish Perinatal Network.
From 1st October 2026 these documents will no longer be available on the Scottish Perinatal Network website.
A collaborative of neonatal pharmacists have reviewed existing WoS neonatal monographs to enable provision of up-to-date PDF neonatal monographs to boards within NHS Scotland. Please note that any monographs downloaded from the SPN website prior to the 1st October may have been superseded by an up-to-date version. From 1st October until the 31st October 2026, boards can request access to up-to-date PDF versions of drug monographs via the nominated board point-of-contact by contacting ggc.pharmacy.services@nhs.scot. Please refer to your local Pharmacy Department for details of your nominated board contact. It is the responsibility of each individual board to ensure the appropriateness of these monographs for use within their area and ensure that any ongoing use, adoption or hosting of these documents is considered through local board governance processes.
